Tipico Co. Ltd. was founded in 2004 as an international trading company and was registered under the number C 34286 in the companies‘ register of the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) in Malta.

The licences for running betting shops, for broker agreements and for additional activities in the field of betting were issued to Tipico Co. Ltd. by the Maltese Lotteries & Gaming Authority (LGA), and Tipico Co. Ltd. is subject to their strict directives and inspection measures.

Regarding professional betting shops, Tipico Co. Ltd. is also a founding member of the Verband Europäischer Wettunternehmer (Union of European Betting Companies, VEWU – www.vewu.com ).
